Operations Hourly Associate - Athens 2026

Job Overview

This position is a full-time role based in Athens, Alabama at the 214 Durham Drive facility. The company is continuously hiring for this position throughout the year. It is part of the Manufacturing and Operations business function.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rotations across different zones, which may require interpreting blueprints and utilizing precision measuring instruments such as calipers, linear measuring machines, and fixtures to verify parts meet quality standards.
• Maintain physical capability to stand continuously, frequently bend and twist during work tasks.
• Occasionally lift weights of up to 35 lbs from floor to waist, 50 lbs from waist to shoulder height, and push or pull weights up to 15 lbs.
• Frequently carry loads weighing between 35 to 55 lbs.
• Reach forward continuously, laterally frequently, and occasionally overhead.
• Occasionally apply moderate force when grasping objects.
• Adapt and rotate work assignments across various stations in the zone, department, division, or plant as necessary.
• Understand and adhere to quality standards, including visually inspecting parts for defects.
• Accurately identify parts, materials, and finishes involved in the manufacturing process.
• Work proficiently with the locator system.
• Meet established takt and cycle time requirements.
• Perform additional skills as needed depending on specific department requirements.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or GED is preferred for this role.
