Job Overview
The Operations Executive will be responsible for overseeing daily branch operations within a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) / Cooperative Credit Society setting. This role requires careful management of documentation, customer interactions, loan processing assistance, data handling, and interdepartmental coordination. Adhering to company policies and regulatory compliance is critical to ensure seamless branch functionality.
Primary Duties
- Manage everyday branch operational activities to ensure efficient workflow.
- Process and verify customer and loan documentation in alignment with company procedures.
- Maintain detailed records, registers, and organizational files for branch activities.
- Assist in loan processing, disbursement, collections, and other operational functions.
- Check KYC and customer documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Precisely enter and update customer and loan data into internal systems.
- Liaise with Branch Managers and departments including Credit, Sales, Collections, Accounts, and Head Office.
- Address customer inquiries related to accounts, loans, documentation, and operations.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports punctually.
- Monitor outstanding documents, applications, approvals, and operational activities to ensure closure.
- Comply with internal policies, KYC standards, and relevant legal regulations.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive customer and company information.
- Support internal audit processes and address audit findings promptly.
- Maintain branch supplies like stationery and documents to support smooth operations.
- Undertake additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate degree from a recognized university is mandatory; MBA or PGDM in Finance, Operations, or similar disciplines is advantageous.
- Familiarity with branch operations and documentation procedures.
- Basic understanding of loans, KYC requirements, banking or NBFC operations, and customer service principles.
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong focus on detail and accuracy.
- Capable of handling MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Effective record-keeping and report preparation abilities.
- Good coordination, follow-up, and ability to work under pressure with deadlines.
- Reliability, integrity, and customer-centric approach.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with background in NBFCs, Cooperative Credit Societies, Banks, Microfinance, Gold Loan operations, Group Loans, Mortgage/LAP, or related financial services are preferred.
