About the Company and Role
Peoples Mutual Cooperative Credit Society Ltd. operates in the financial services sector offering a variety of products such as Gold Loans, Group Loans, Mortgage Loans, Housing Loans, Loan Against Property (LAP), Fixed Deposits, and related financial solutions. We seek a seasoned and target-driven Branch Manager to oversee branch business operations, collections, and overall branch performance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day functioning and business management of the branch.
- Attain branch business targets, including revenue, disbursement, and collections.
- Promote a wide array of financial products including Gold Loans, Group Loans, LAP, Mortgage Loans, Housing Loans, and Deposits.
- Develop new business by acquiring customers through field visits, referrals, and local market initiatives.
- Lead, motivate, and manage sales, credit, operations, and collection teams within the branch.
- Assign targets to team members and supervise their daily achievements.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of monthly and quarterly goals.
- Monitor collections and guarantee prompt recovery of overdue accounts.
- Maintain and build strong relationships with existing clients and cultivate new ones.
- Verify loan applications thoroughly before processing and coordinate with Credit and Operations teams for efficient loan disbursement.
- Ensure full compliance with company guidelines, policies, and regulatory norms.
- Safeguard branch cash, records, documents, and other operational activities.
- Hold regular meetings with branch staff to provide guidance toward enhancing performance.
- Recognize local market opportunities and strategize on increasing branch profitability.
- Handle customer grievances promptly and resolve operational concerns.
- Monitor staff attendance, discipline, and productivity diligently.
- Conduct field visits to supervise sales and collection personnel.
- Prepare and submit detailed branch performance reports to higher management.
- Maintain strict vigilance against fraud, misappropriation, and documentation irregularities.
- Support audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.

Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate degree in any field; an MBA or PGDM is advantageous.
- Between three to seven years’ experience in NBFC, Banking, Microfinance or Financial Services sectors.
- Preferred prior roles include Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, or Branch Head.
- Comprehensive knowledge of lending, collections, sales, and branch operations.
- Strong communication, leadership, and team management capabilities.
- Good understanding of the local market and customer demographics.
- Willingness to travel locally to support business development and supervisory activities.

Compensation and Employment Details
- Competitive monthly salary range from 30,000 to 80,000 INR, depending on experience, qualifications, and performance.
