Alohi collaborates closely with homestay owners, local vendors, and travelers to deliver seamless and memorable journeys.
Role Overview
The Operations Executive will manage end-to-end travel operations. Responsibilities include handling customer inquiries, designing personalized itineraries, coordinating trips, and growing Alohi’s homestay and vendor network across Northeast India. This role suits individuals who enjoy trip planning, destination research, communication, logistical coordination, and working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer travel inquiries and develop customized itineraries.
- Investigate new destinations in Northeast India and create unique travel packages.
- Liaise with clients before and during travel to ensure smooth trip execution.
- Identify and onboard reliable vendors for B2B travel packages.
- Discover and enlist new homestays throughout Northeast India.
- Support the Operations Head in daily operational planning and coordination.
- Help operate and manage tasks via the company’s website admin panel.
- Maintain and update trip details, vendor databases, and homestay records.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with homestay owners and local partners.
- Conduct quality control on itineraries before delivery to clients.
- Collect feedback post-trip and produce improvement reports.
- Assist the marketing/content team by providing destination research and insights.
- Learn pricing and costing techniques for travel packages including margin calculations.
- Handle communications with clients and partners through WhatsApp, email, and phone calls.

Compensation and Vacancy Details
The company offers two openings for this full-time position based onsite in Guwahati, Assam.
During the probation period (first year), the salary is ₹15,000 per month plus perks that could total up to ₹25,000. Upon successfully completing probation, the monthly salary increases to ₹20,000 with perks that may reach ₹45,000 along with additional allowances.
Additional Information
The recruitment process has three stages: CV screening, a task-based assessment, and a personal interview. The position requires immediate joining. Candidates from Northeast India with 0-2 years of experience in the travel industry are encouraged to apply.
