Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Operations Coordinator to support the New Zealand Operations Team. In this full-time, 12-month contract role based in Auckland, you will assist in managing daily trip activities to ensure safe and smooth operations. Collaborating closely with the Operations Manager and Deputy, you will address operational challenges, maintain transparent communication with Tour Leaders and suppliers, and help resolve on-ground issues. Your efforts will contribute significantly to delivering outstanding travel experiences across New Zealand.
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Provide managerial and administrative assistance to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage day-to-day trip operations, handling any challenges promptly and effectively.
- Communicate clearly with Tour Leaders and suppliers to support seamless travel delivery.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with operational collaborators.
- Respond quickly to queries from Tour Leaders and support issue resolution in the field.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in travel operations.
- Familiarity with travel logistics within New Zealand.
- Exceptional organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
- A Diploma or Degree in Travel and Tourism would be advantageous.
