Operations Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Coordinator with over three years of expertise in freight forwarding and logistics to oversee and streamline shipment processes at our Dammam, Saudi Arabia location. The ideal candidate will manage air, sea, and land freight operations to ensure efficient day-to-day business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination of shipments across air, sea, and land freight services.
• Manage shipment bookings, track consignments, and oversee delivery follow-up procedures.
• Prepare and verify all necessary shipping and logistics documentation.
• Liaise effectively with customers, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and various agents involved in the logistics network.
• Supervise customs clearance processes and monitor delivery statuses closely.
• Keep customers informed regularly about the status and progress of their shipments.
• Address and resolve any operational challenges or delays promptly to minimize impact.
• Maintain comprehensive shipment records and generate relevant operational reports.
• Collaborate closely with both sales and operations teams to facilitate seamless shipment handling.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least three years of professional experience within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• In-depth understanding of air, sea, and land freight operational procedures.
• Proficient in handling shipping documentation and coordinating shipments efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and capability in managing customer relations.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent follow-up abilities and effective problem-solving skills.
• Preferable experience working in Saudi Arabia or broader GCC regions.
• Availability for immediate joining is highly desired.
