Job description
Overview

Key Responsibilities

- Verify availability of staff and equipment per shift using system updates and rosters, while continuously assessing task demands to ensure flight-related duties comply with business protocols and staff qualifications.
- Undertake resource allocation through three stages: pre-planning (preparing allocations 24 hours in advance), shift-planning (validating and detailing assignments at shift start), and real-time management (adjusting plans dynamically during the shift as necessary).
- Utilize resource allocation systems to optimize efficiency and productivity, communicate plans effectively, and monitor task fulfillment.
- Collaborate with operational shift teams to adapt resource plans in response to unforeseen changes, such as staff absences, recommending replacements or overtime.
- Regularly review resource plans to align with changing operational needs and collaborate closely with shift management personnel to maintain system efficacy.
- Develop contingency resource allocations for use during scheduled or unscheduled system downtimes.
- Coordinate with fellow resource allocators to ensure smooth transitions during shifts and provide cross-area support as needed.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the department head.
Qualifications and Skills

- Experience managing operational resource allocation systems and roster planning within large staff environments.
- Proficient in time resource allocation software and MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to quickly adapt to operational changes.
