The Operations Associate is a key member of the store team, responsible for enhancing profitability and operational efficiency. This role collaborates closely with the Operations & Visual Management team to complete tasks and offer feedback aimed at optimizing overall store performance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Efficiently carry out inventory management processes focusing on accuracy and minimizing shrinkage.
• Identify and analyze causes of inventory inaccuracies in partnership with the General/Store Manager, escalating procedural or system issues as needed.
• Assist with essential operational activities such as shipping, receiving, processing, reverse transfers, sales floor upkeep, intra-day replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
• Uphold and promote high visual merchandising standards on the sales floor.
• Manage and support reporting, budgeting, expenses, inventory controls, vendor partnerships, technology, and facilities to ensure optimal functioning.
• Contribute to a safe work environment by maintaining stockroom organization and operational processes.
• Be actively mobile on the retail floor addressing business, team, and customer needs dynamically.
• Implement company-wide operations directives and projects in collaboration with the Operations & Visual Management team.
• Assist in shipment processing and ensure smooth product flow including visual merchandising placement and daily replenishment excellence.
• Demonstrate strong commercial insight by utilizing metrics to drive business strategy.
• Respond quickly and effectively to customer requests to guarantee satisfaction.
• Detect product-related issues and communicate inventory requirements to support business objectives.
• Maintain a clean, safe, inviting, and efficient store environment by taking initiative when not assisting guests.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in client-focused sales and operational roles.
• Strong passion for customer service and creating outstanding experiences.
• Self-driven with the ambition to achieve personal and team success.
• Alignment with ALO’s core principles and values.
• Must be capable of constant movement throughout all store areas.
• Physical ability to lift, push, carry or move weights between 10-15kg.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders safely, crawl, twist, and stand throughout entire shifts.
