In-Store Visual Merchandiser - Bondi Junction Flagship Store

The Visual Lead at our Bondi Junction flagship store plays a vital role in driving sales and profitability through outstanding visual merchandising. This position works closely with management and visual teams to implement merchandising strategies, maintain store presentation, and ensure efficient store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee key store operations such as shipment processing, receiving, transfers, sales floor replenishment, and visual floor set updates.
• Ensure product presentation is strategic and consistent by managing restocking, destocking, and visual merchandising changes alongside the Visual Manager.
• Plan and execute visual floor transformations aligned with business needs, budget, and timelines, collaborating with the management team.
• Use data and reporting tools with management to identify merchandising opportunities in product placement and inventory levels, making adjustments as needed.
• Manage budget, expenses, vendor relationships, inventory control, and store facilities in partnership with Operations and Visual Managers.
• Exhibit strong business judgement by interpreting metrics to support business strategies.
• Actively engage on the retail floor to support business operations, team members, and customers.
• Lead and motivate the store team by setting high standards in daily operations, guest experience, and visual merchandising.
• Assist in recruitment, coaching, and development of associates, delivering performance feedback to foster growth.
• Collaborate with other team leads to ensure seamless cross-functional training and execution of company initiatives.
• Unlock and secure the store maintaining visual merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-focused sales environment.
• Demonstrated leadership with sound decision-making skills.
• Open and responsive to feedback, willing to provide constructive input.
• Self-driven with ambition to excel both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Personal values aligned with ALO's core principles.
• Physical stamina sufficient to constantly move throughout the store during shifts.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 10-15 kilograms, as well as bend, kneel, climb ladders, and stand for entire shifts safely.
