Key Responsibilities

• Accurately select and assemble customer orders from various temperature zones ensuring on-time delivery.
• Verify product selection, quantities, and product codes when packing orders carefully.
• Choose fresh and high-quality products while discarding damaged or unsuitable items.
• Complete all documentation and labeling including pick slips and shipping labels with precision.
• Efficiently pack totes to maximize space use without compromising safety or product quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by following food hygiene standards and promptly cleaning spills.
• Operate equipment responsibly and perform required safety checks.
• Interact positively with customers, assisting and resolving issues as needed.
• Contribute ideas to enhance processes, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working varied shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays according to business needs.

Challenges in This Role

• Manage overtime and overnight shifts by planning to maintain energy and focus.
• Handle high volumes of tasks in a dynamic environment, ensuring timely and accurate restocking and recovery.
• Perform physically demanding work including standing for long periods, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Complete repetitive stocking, zoning, and product organization tasks with careful attention to detail and consistency.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $17.75.
