Program Overview
The O’fuq Program is an exclusive three-year rotational development scheme designed for Qatari nationals. It offers participants the opportunity to gain comprehensive on-the-job experience across key sectors of HSBC's corporate and institutional banking operations within Qatar.
About Corporate and Institutional Banking
HSBC's Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) division delivers market-driven, financing-centered solutions including advisory, financing, prime services, research, securities, trading, sales, and transaction banking. The division connects emerging and mature markets through an extensive international network to serve corporate, government, and institutional clients.
Key Elements of the Program
- Duration of 30 to 36 months with four rotations, each lasting about nine months.
- Hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic setting aimed at recent graduates.
- Professional growth opportunities including personalized development plans to support career goals.
- Mentorship from senior leaders for career guidance and support.
- Training focused on communication, influencing, business partnering, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Placements tailored to participants’ interests and aspirations within Qatar's banking operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree in a related discipline with a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Have understanding of international business and various industry sectors.
- Experience or appreciation of working in a global environment is preferred.
- Strong teamwork skills that encourage cooperation and trust.
- Analytical and financial skills are essential.
- Effective prioritization, organization, and time management capabilities.
- Decisiveness and good communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Applicants must be Qatari nationals exclusively.
