Officer HSE

Overview

The Officer HSE role focuses on maintaining and systematically documenting safety and environmental management systems across all company workshops, warehouses, and office locations. This position requires analyzing inspection data to identify and close out noncompliance issues, while acting as a key advisor to management for integrating HSE protocols into daily administrative and operational processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent and documented enforcement of safety and environmental management protocols at all AL TAIF sites including workshops, warehouses, and offices.
• Analyze inspection data to detect noncompliance trends and oversee the tracking and resolution of all reported issues.
• Advise management and supervisors on incorporating HSE best practices within organizational workflows.
• Manage the approved Risk Framework including maintaining an up-to-date Risk Register.
• Design and implement training programs that cover risk assessments, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and environmental impact assessments, ensuring standardized application.
• Compile performance reports and strategic recommendations for senior leadership based on data insights.
• Coordinate and administer all internal HSE training schedules and records for employees and contractors.
• Oversee waste management documentation and manifest systems, guaranteeing compliance with UAE regulations and company policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and HSE records.
• Mentor and provide administrative support to HSE team members to meet departmental goals.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by line and department managers.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum education required is a High School Diploma; having a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• At least five years of experience in a Health, Safety, and Environment role is mandatory.
• Exposure to industrial safety technical programs is advantageous.
• Proficiency in monitoring and analyzing HSE trends is essential.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and professional email communication is required.
• Capability to understand and apply government HSE regulations to identify workplace safety and environmental deficiencies.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with management and staff about identified issues.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on daily tasks and multiple administrative projects.
• Experience in creating HSE training materials and delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
• A strong work ethic with punctuality is expected.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
• Possession or ability to obtain a valid UAE driver’s license is mandatory.

Additional Information
