Odoo Developer

Role Overview

We seek a proficient Mid-Level Odoo Developer with between two and five years of direct development experience. This fully remote role entails building, customizing, and managing tailored Odoo ERP solutions across diverse business functions. Collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams and stakeholders will be critical to delivering scalable and operationally efficient software.

Key Duties

• Create, test, and implement custom Odoo modules and workflows that meet business needs.
• Revise and enhance core Odoo ERP applications, including Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, Purchase, and HR.
• Build and sustain reliable RESTful and JSON-RPC APIs for integration with external services such as payment gateways and e-commerce platforms.
• Optimize the PostgreSQL database via effective queries, models, and ORM methods for enhanced speed and data reliability.
• Develop dynamic user interfaces using JavaScript, XML, HTML5, CSS3, and craft bespoke QWeb reports.
• Troubleshoot technical problems, maintain and improve system performance, and oversee system upgrades.
• Work closely with project and client teams to convert functional specifications into executable technical solutions.

Required Expertise

• Between 2 and 5 years of software development experience focused on Odoo (Community and Enterprise editions).
• Advanced skills in Python and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL database design and Odoo ORM framework.
• Proficient in XML, QWeb templating, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Git version control and continuous integration/deployment workflows.
• Practical knowledge of developing and consuming RESTful and JSON-RPC APIs.
• Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu server environments, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal; Arabic language proficiency is highly desirable.
