Observability Engineer

About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Observability Engineer based in Kolkata. The position requires professionals with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience to develop comprehensive observability solutions that enhance operational visibility and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy full-spectrum observability solutions.
• Create and maintain real-time dashboards and reporting tools for system monitoring.
• Refine alert mechanisms to minimize false alarms while enhancing alert relevance.
• Facilitate incident minimization and accelerate Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR).
• Provide operational and automation support for the Enterprise Command Center.

Required Expertise

• Profound knowledge in observability engineering focusing on logs, metrics, and tracing techniques.
• Practical experience with monitoring platforms such as Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, Application Insights, and OpManager.
• Competence in integrating observability tools with IT Service Management systems, including ServiceNow.
