Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Grafana Developer based in Sydney or Melbourne with at least 7 years of pertinent experience. Your primary focus will involve designing, developing, and refining Grafana dashboards to facilitate operational and business intelligence reporting across diverse portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and improve Grafana dashboards to support essential operational and analytic reporting needs.
• Construct and configure dashboards leveraging Denodo-managed datasets, complying with established data architecture protocols without direct connections to source systems.
• Collaborate closely with business users to convert reporting requirements into user-friendly visual tools like dashboards, charts, panels, and automated alerts.
• Enhance dashboard usability, performance, and overall user experience to provide actionable operational insights.
• Develop and uphold dashboard standards, reusable templates, and best-practice guidelines to guarantee uniformity and scalability of reporting solutions.
• Manage user permissions and roles aligned with corporate security and governance policies.
• Work alongside Data Engineers, Analysts, and business stakeholders to verify KPIs, metrics, calculations, and reporting accuracy.
• Investigate and address issues related to dashboard visuals, discrepancies, and performance.
• Implement and sustain alerting, notification, and monitoring mechanisms to fulfill critical operational reporting necessities.
• Test dashboard functionalities across variable operational scenarios and data conditions to ensure accuracy and dependability.
• Document extensively all aspects of dashboard architecture, data sources, configurations, deployment protocols, and support workflows.
