Nursing Director

Overview

The Nursing Director will lead and oversee nursing services throughout the hospital, ensuring delivery of safe and patient-focused nursing care. This leadership role involves directing nursing workforce performance, managing staffing levels, maintaining clinical standards, driving quality improvement, and assuring regulatory adherence.

Key Duties

• Provide executive direction and supervision of nursing departments and units across the facility.
• Manage nursing staff levels, optimize workforce utilization, verify competencies, and monitor staff performance to meet care and operational needs.
• Track nursing quality metrics, patient safety, and outcomes, introducing enhancements as necessary.
• Lead nursing managers and supervisors, encouraging professional growth, enhancing staff engagement, and fostering a culture committed to clinical excellence.
• Ensure nursing practices comply with institutional policies, accreditation requirements, clinical protocols, and legal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with preference for candidates holding a Master’s in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
• Active professional classification and registration valid with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• At least eight years of nursing experience, including strong expertise in nursing operations, workforce oversight, clinical governance, quality assurance, and patient safety.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within healthcare or hospital settings.
