About the Role
Join Kido Windsor Nursery & Preschool as a Nursery Housekeeper, playing a vital role in upholding our core values and vibrant culture. This position centers on ensuring that children receive nutritious meals while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary between £26,463 and £27,000 for a 40-hour week.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain a hygienic, fresh, and tidy nursery setting, managing cleaning duties, laundry, waste removal, and organization of deliveries.
- Champion healthy eating by preparing wholesome food and communicating menu details to children and parents.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations, including the Health & Safety at Work Act and COSHH guidelines.
- Consistently prepare the nursery for environmental health inspections, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and clutter-free.
- Adhere firmly to safeguarding policies to promote child safety and wellbeing.
- Support the team in various duties to encourage a collaborative and inclusive work culture.
- Manage stock ordering and communication efficiently to maintain necessary supplies.
