Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, fresh, and welcoming nursery environment that reflects the vibrant and safe learning spaces Kido prides itself on.
• Take full responsibility for cleanliness, including executing thorough cleaning routines, sanitizing equipment, laundering textiles, emptying bins, and managing deliveries.
• Ensure the nursery is always inspection-ready, adhering strictly to environmental health and safety standards.
• Follow Health & Safety at Work Act regulations rigorously and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Comply with EHO and COSHH guidelines to ensure health and safety compliance within the nursery.
• Promote and support safeguarding policies and procedures consistently to protect the welfare of the children.
• Support the nursery team with additional duties when necessary to foster an inclusive and cooperative culture.
• Manage timely communication for stock ordering and inventory organization to ensure operational efficiency.

Essential Requirements

• Commitment to following the Health & Safety at Work Act and safeguarding policies.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and manage nursery facilities effectively.
• Ability to work cooperatively within a team-oriented and supportive environment.
• Willingness to engage in all safeguarding protocols and raise concerns appropriately.
• Eligibility to work in the UK; note that sponsorship applications are not supported for this position.
