Job Overview
The Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care by addressing inquiries, assessing health conditions, and delivering appropriate interventions. Responsibilities include recording symptoms and medical changes, administering medications and intravenous fluids, performing basic healthcare treatments, and providing emergency care when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to patient questions and provide assistance based on their needs.
- Document patient symptoms, vitals, and any changes in condition.
- Develop and apply patient care plans and treatment interventions.
- Administer medications and fluids while accurately tracking dosages and timing.
- Perform routine patient care activities such as measuring vitals, wound care, muscle massage, and applying temperature treatments.
- Provide immediate emergency treatment and coordinate further medical care if necessary.
- Inform employer and staff about health concerns to reduce illness risks.
- Maintain records of guest assessments and counseling in a confidential manner.
- Stay informed about professional developments and seek further training when encountering unfamiliar situations.
- Adhere to company policies, report hazards and incidents, and use protective gear appropriately.
- Maintain confidentiality of company information and safeguard assets.
- Anticipate and address guest service requirements with professionalism and discretion.
- Support compliance with company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues and assist in achieving team objectives.
- Comply with quality assurance standards and expectations.
- Perform physical tasks requiring fine motor skills and moderate lifting capabilities.
- Undertake additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Minimum of three years experience in a related nursing role.
- Professional licensure as a Registered Nurse valid in the practicing state is mandatory.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
