Job description

Job Overview

This position is based at Ummahat Island 1, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia, within the Sales & Marketing category and functions as a non-management full-time role. The Marketing Supervisor plays a key role in promoting brand awareness internally and externally, maximizing sales through proven techniques while maintaining guest loyalty, and supporting various sales and marketing operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the brand image awareness both inside and outside the company.
  • Utilize sales techniques that increase revenue while preserving the loyalty of current Marriott guests.
  • Communicate via telephone with prospective owners to arrange sales packages and preliminary tours.
  • Encourage guests or callers to purchase or schedule sales packages and preliminary tours.
  • Explain details and requirements for attending sales presentations to potential owners.
  • Verify eligibility for scheduling sales packages and preliminary tours before arranging Marriott Vacation Club tours.
  • Determine and award incentives like reward points or show tickets to guests as tokens of appreciation.
  • Perform general office duties to support sales and marketing, including filing, emailing, transcription, and faxing.
  • Accurately receive, record, and relay messages.
  • Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees; act as a role model and serve as first contact in the "Fair Treatment Guarantee and Open Door Policy" process.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintain a neat and professional appearance, safeguard proprietary information, and protect guest and colleague privacy and security.
  • Greet and recognize all guests per company standards, anticipate and fulfill their service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally; prepare and review accurate documentation; handle phone calls with proper protocol.
  • Foster positive working relationships, support team objectives, listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
  • Physically handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds independently through moving, lifting, transporting, pushing, or pulling.
  • Perform other reasonable job responsibilities as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Completion of secondary education or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
  • Work experience: At least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
  • Supervisory experience: Not mandatory.
  • Licenses or certifications: None required.
