Job description
Role Overview
At voco Zeal Exeter Science Park, we are seeking a Night Porter to join our team, a role ideal for those who thrive during nighttime hours. This position requires maintaining hotel operations smoothly and safely while guests and the rest of the world sleep.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming and helpful presence for guests during the night, including assisting with luggage and travel plans.
- Respond to guest requests, including providing additional room amenities and serving food and beverage offerings.
- Ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises overnight by staying vigilant throughout the shift.
- Adapt flexibly to changing circumstances during the shift and use initiative in daily preparations for the upcoming day.
Work Schedule
The position involves working 40 hours per week spread over 5 days, with a flexible schedule that accommodates various shifts including evenings and weekends, reflecting our hotel’s 7-day, year-round operation.
