About the Role
Durbin News is launching an English-language news channel on YouTube and seeks a dynamic on-camera anchor to lead broadcasts.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver English news bulletins, headlines, and explainer segments on camera with clarity and engagement.
- Read and present scripts from a teleprompter, maintaining a natural and steady pace.
- Verify and fact-check scripts thoroughly prior to recording; produce voice-overs for brief video content.
- Collaborate closely with the editing team to ensure timely completion of daily recording schedules.
Candidate Profile
- Fluency in English with a clear American accent and confident on-camera demeanor.
- Comfortable with multiple takes, exhibiting poise and assurance during filming.
- Proficient English writing skills combined with strong editorial judgment concerning news content.
Compensation
- Full-time salary ranges from BDT 30,000 to 50,000 per month, contingent on experience.
- Part-time opportunities available with negotiable hourly pay rates.
