Job Summary
The role is a full-time, onsite position based in Indore, responsible for anchoring news broadcasts, conducting live event coverage, interviewing guests, and reporting news stories. The News Anchor must collaborate closely with production teams and align all content with strict editorial standards to maintain journalistic integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Host news programming and deliver live event coverage.
- Research and prepare news stories and scripts with clarity and precision.
- Conduct interviews with guests effectively and professionally.
- Present breaking news in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain adherence to journalistic ethics and editorial policies.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth broadcast operations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in news reporting, including researching and covering live events.
- Proficiency in on-camera presentation and broadcasting techniques.
- Strong news writing abilities capable of producing clear and concise scripts.
- A proven track record as a presenter and effective communicator with the public.
- Educational background in broadcast journalism or related media fields.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding of media laws, regulations, and journalistic ethics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies or a related discipline.
