Position Overview
FOX23 is seeking a full-time News Anchor to join our team in Tulsa, OK. We require a professional journalist with a compelling on-air presence who can also lead and collaborate effectively with colleagues. This role involves contributing to show planning and content production with a passionate and competitive mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate actively in news show planning and content creation.
- Consistently deliver engaging news broadcasts with a smooth and pleasant presentation style.
- Embrace social media platforms to connect with and grow the audience.
- Collaborate closely with the newsroom team to maintain and enhance broadcast quality.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of five years of live on-air broadcast experience.
- Proficiency in live commercial television broadcasting and skills in shooting and editing video content.
- Excellent written communication abilities, demonstrating strong news judgment and ethical standards.
- Exceptional leadership capabilities and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in working “in-the-field” reporting and live coverage.
