Role Overview
The position of New Business Manager is a dedicated full-time role stationed on-site in Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. The individual will lead efforts to expand the company's property management portfolio by uncovering and pursuing new business possibilities. Responsibilities entail cultivating rapport with property owners and effectively showcasing Tauranga Rentals Limited’s service offerings. Key daily responsibilities encompass crafting and executing business strategies, analyzing market trends and competitors, managing prospective client pipelines, and diligently following up to secure new management contracts. Collaboration with internal teams to facilitate seamless client onboarding, maintaining precise business activity records, and delivering consistent performance and target reports are integral parts of the function.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in new business development, including generating leads, prospecting, and successfully closing client agreements.
- Proficiency in business management and planning to devise strategies, define objectives, and steer growth initiatives.
- Strong analytical capacity to interpret market insights, evaluate opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
- Experience in account management to nurture ongoing client relationships and uphold exceptional service standards.
- Additional valuable competencies include excellent communication and negotiation skills, relevant sales or business development experience, and well-developed organizational skills.
- Previous exposure to property management, real estate, or affiliated industries, along with knowledge of the Bay of Plenty market, is advantageous.
- Preferred qualifications include academic credentials in business, sales, or management or equivalent hands-on experience.
