Neuropsychologist

Overview

Under the supervision of the Head of the Psychology Department at JurongHealth Service, this role entails delivering cost-efficient neuropsychological evaluations critical for patient diagnosis and rehabilitation. Additionally, the position focuses on empowering the wider community through educational sessions and training initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform neuropsychological assessments to aid in diagnosing conditions such as intellectual disability, ADHD, and dementia, as well as assist in rehabilitation for stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological disorders across inpatient and outpatient contexts.
• Support awake craniotomy procedures as needed.
• Organize and present educational talks and workshops on neuropsychology topics tailored to healthcare practitioners and the public.
• Ensure timely completion of administrative duties, including monthly statistical reporting and key performance indicators.
• Participate in clinical research projects when required.

Requirements

• Possess a Master’s degree specializing in Clinical Neuropsychology.
• Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for healthcare sector involvement.
• Be comfortable and skilled in working with elderly populations.
• Prior experience with adolescent, adult, or geriatric patients in hospital environments is advantageous.
• Capable of operating autonomously in complex settings.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and teamwork capabilities to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Must be eligible for or already registered with the Singapore Psychological Society and the Singapore Register of Psychologists.
• Willingness to work on Saturdays as required.
