Feenix Communications is expanding its technical team and seeks a Network Architect to join their office in Auckland. The company owns and manages network infrastructure spanning New Zealand, Australia, and the United States, providing connectivity and networking solutions to service providers, partners, and customers.

Job Responsibilities

This senior, client-facing position requires transforming complex requirements into robust, scalable, and resilient network architectures. The role collaborates closely with sales, engineering, and operations teams to design customer solutions and help evolve the Feenix network infrastructure.

Key Experience and Skills Required

• Design and architect networks for carriers, ISPs, or service providers
• Proficiency in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and advanced IP networking protocols
• Expertise in core and edge network design principles
• Experience with SDN (Software Defined Networking), NFV (Network Function Virtualization), and network automation technologies
• Familiarity with carrier-grade networking platforms; Nokia platform experience is highly valued
• Ability to deliver both high-level and detailed network solution designs
• Engaging in customer discovery processes and technical solution discussions
