Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time .NET Engineer to join our team on-site in Mogadishu. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining backend and web applications using .NET technologies with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and security. Daily responsibilities include feature development, bug resolution, producing clean and testable code, and participating in code reviews. Collaboration with product owners, designers, and fellow engineers is essential to transform requirements into technical deliverables. Supporting deployed applications and documenting systems are also key aspects. Additionally, the engineer will help enhance development workflows and adopt best practices alongside modern tools.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming concepts and general programming fundamentals.
• Practical experience developing software applications using .NET Core.
• Solid skills in building web applications via ASP.NET MVC framework.
• Understanding of relational database concepts, SQL querying, and basic database design.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git and experience in collaborative development processes.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with meticulous attention to writing clean, maintainable code.
• Effective communication aptitude and ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional, on-site teams.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or comparable hands-on experience is preferred.
• Additional experience with RESTful API development, unit testing frameworks, and Agile methodologies is considered advantageous.
