Role Overview
As a Senior Consultant within the Technology Transformation Venture Studio, you will design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications leveraging .NET technologies. The team focuses on innovation at the intersection of tax, accounting, business, and technology using cloud-based solutions to deliver efficiency and a cohesive global digital experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using .NET and C#.
- Deploy, manage, and scale applications utilizing Azure cloud services.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to uphold quality and best practices.
- Create comprehensive documentation for developed software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application errors and issues.
- Share expertise and knowledge with team members to promote learning.
- Analyze and interpret business requirements into technical solutions.
- Adhere to and apply best coding guidelines and practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the project environment.
Qualifications and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in .NET development focused on C#.
- Technical proficiency in ASP.NET Core, Angular 16+, Web API, object-oriented programming, and testing methodologies.
- Hands-on knowledge of fundamental Azure cloud concepts.
- Familiarity with advanced design patterns and principles.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies like Bicep or Terraform.
- Exposure to containerization using Docker and orchestration with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is advantageous.
- A strong passion for software development life cycle and continuous improvement.
- Ability to meet deadlines with a result-oriented approach.
- Comfort working independently as well as collaboratively within dynamic project teams.
- Open to learning new technologies and adapting to best practices.
- Interest in tax or business advisory fields is a bonus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
