As we grow our technology team specializing in retail banking, we are seeking an experienced .NET API Developer skilled in cloud native technologies. This role involves modernizing banking infrastructure to improve scalability and security while minimizing legacy technical issues through automation and real-time transaction data synchronization. Utilizing microservices, the role supports technology flexibility and smooth deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow developers to design and implement algorithms and flowcharts.
• Create, develop, and maintain robust .NET APIs tailored for banking applications.
• Write clean and efficient code according to requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure smooth integration with established systems.
• Incorporate software components and third-party tools seamlessly.
• Enforce security measures and access controls focused on identity management.
• Enhance API performance and scalability consistently.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing API functionality as needed.
• Ensure deployment and verification of programs and systems.
• Collect and analyze user feedback to implement improvements.
• Keep up to date with trends and best practices in the industry.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Between five to seven years of recent experience in .NET development.
• Expertise in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API development.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) concepts.
• Experience with OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML protocols.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within diverse, geographically distributed teams.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
• Background in banking systems or financial services applications is advantageous.

Compensation and Additional Information

The estimated salary range for this full-time role is $75,000 to $125,000 per year, influenced by skill level, location, experience, certifications, and other factors.
