About the Role
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to lead and oversee skill development and vocational training projects under the NCVET/NCVT framework based in Kollam, Kerala. This role demands proactive management of all project phases to ensure the successful delivery of training and certification initiatives aligned with compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and steer skill development and vocational training projects from initiation through to completion, including trainee recruitment, centre setup, training execution, assessments, certification, and project closure.
- Ensure adherence to NCVET/NCVT regulatory standards, NSQF guidelines, and accreditation processes by liaising with relevant government agencies, Sector Skill Councils, and certification authorities.
- Work closely with trainers, assessors, and training centers to assure timely and high-quality training delivery, while monitoring enrolment, attendance, learner progress, and certification status.
- Conduct site visits to training centers for evaluating operations, identifying issues, and facilitating necessary corrective measures.
- Maintain comprehensive records including trainee data, training progress, assessment results, certification documents, and project status reports.
- Prepare and present MIS reports, dashboards, and progress updates to management, partners, and sponsors to support transparency and informed decision-making.
- Monitor project quality and impact by evaluating learner outcomes, analyzing challenges, and documenting success stories and overall project effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Management, Education, Social Sciences, Engineering, Vocational Education or related fields.
- Minimum of five years of experience in skill development, vocational training, CSR projects, or project coordination roles.
- Familiarity with NCVET/NCVT requirements, NSQF standards, and Skill India initiatives is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, communication, MIS reporting, and operational oversight.
