Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment operates smoothly and to preemptively identify potential malfunctions.
- Perform preventive maintenance, including lubricating parts, replacing worn components, and updating software to avoid equipment breakdowns.
- Maintain cleanliness of machinery and devices to prevent inefficiencies or failures.
- Diagnose faults using diagnostic software, sensors, or manual methods.
- Repair or replace defective parts to restore full functionality.
- Verify repairs by testing equipment post-maintenance.
- Keep detailed records of inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and upgrades.
- Prepare reports outlining equipment status, encountered issues, and recommendations for further interventions or replacements.
- Execute tests on systems and devices following installation or repairs to confirm compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor system performance through Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) to maintain optimal operation and address any performance dips.
- Strictly adhere to health and safety protocols, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment like gloves, goggles, or ear protection when necessary.
