Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Naturalist position stationed in Alwar. The individual will guide nature and wildlife explorations, interpret habitat complexities for visitors, and provide captivating insights into the region's flora, fauna, and conservation efforts. Responsibilities include planning and conducting environmental education sessions, preparing educational content, and aiding community outreach endeavors.

The Naturalist will carry out observations in the field, help with fundamental research and data gathering, and work jointly with colleagues to advance conservation projects and enhance visitor experiences. Additional duties involve maintaining records, safeguarding visitors in natural environments, and liaising with management to optimize program schedules and improvements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on understanding of local wildlife and ecosystems.
• Strong communication capabilities to effectively engage with diverse groups and articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Experience or formal training in environmental education, including curriculum design and delivery of learning experiences.
• Project management skills to organize and implement conservation or educational initiatives efficiently.
• Proficiency in conducting field observations, collecting data, and preparing ecological reports.
• Preferred academic credentials in ecology, environmental science, zoology, or related disciplines.
• Comfort working outdoors under various climatic conditions with adherence to safety protocols.
