About the Role
Take charge as the leader of visual merchandising strategy and implementation across a high-traffic national retail chain. Shape the in-store experience to boost sales and enhance brand aesthetics on a large scale. Lead major seasonal campaigns, promotional events, and oversee new store openings and refurbishment projects. Collaborate closely with senior leadership teams spanning Retail, Merchandise, and Marketing while strengthening visual merchandising talents across multiple sites within operations. Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement a comprehensive national visual merchandising strategy suited for a multi-site, high-volume retail environment.
- Ensure uniform visual merchandising standards and store presentations throughout a geographically diverse network.
- Manage frequent campaigns, promotional launches, seasonal changes, and floor merchandising sets.
- Adapt swiftly and effectively to changes in trading conditions and store circumstances.
- Collaborate with Merchandise and Planning teams to optimize spatial layout, product placement, stock density, and customer navigation.
- Utilize sales data, store feedback, and commercial insights to determine priorities.
- Oversee visual merchandising for new store launches, refits, and concept rollouts.
- Coach visual merchandising specialists, store managers, and operational teams to drive excellence.
- Forge strong partnerships with State Managers, Regional Managers, and Support Centre stakeholders.
- Maintain high quality and accountability standards while balancing multiple national deadlines.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated extensive leadership experience in visual merchandising for a large, multi-location retail environment.
- Proven success managing visual merchandising programs across numerous stores, multiple product categories, and rapid campaign cycles.
- Strong commercial insight enabling the conversion of performance data into effective visual merchandising strategies.
- Ability to handle competing demands, strict deadlines, and overlapping projects effectively.
- Experience mentoring and coaching teams across widely distributed locations.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and influence, even without direct reporting lines.
- Strong organizational skills with superior project management and execution aptitude.
- Resilient, agile, and capable of practical problem-solving in dynamic conditions.
