Nanny / Housekeeper

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and professional nanny/housekeeper with a full clean driver's license and personal vehicle to work part-time at our home in Killiney. The position involves 45 hours per week, with working hours from 7am to 7pm including a 3-hour break during the day.

Responsibilities

• Handling creche and school drop-offs and pick-ups for two children under the age of four.
• Managing household duties such as cleaning, grocery shopping, cooking, and laundry during the children’s childcare hours (9am to 4pm).
• Providing general housekeeping support throughout the workday.
• After May 2027, expanding the role to 12 hours daily to include full care of the newborn while maintaining most existing responsibilities.

Requirements

• Must have a full clean driving license and own a car for transportation needs.
• Previous experience as a nanny or housekeeper is essential.
• Fluent English language skills are mandatory.
• Higher level of education is an advantage.
• Personal qualities sought include kindness, intelligence, trustworthiness, and professional demeanor.

Additional Information

The position offers paid annual leave with remuneration aligned to experience. The newborn is presently cared for by a parent but full care responsibilities will begin in May 2027 as the role extends.
