Role Overview

Under the supervision of the Fleet Readiness Manager, this position supports the continuous programs involving the refurbishment, repair, and refitting of truck and trailer fleet interiors and exteriors. The role involves assisting tradespeople and undertaking basic first fix joinery and bodywork maintenance.

Main Responsibilities

• Support tradespeople in various tasks including general first fix joinery and body repair activities.
• Manage removal and proper disposal of waste from trailer strip-outs and refurbishments.
• Paint and maintain chassis, wheels, and related deployment equipment.
• Assist multiple trades during project fit-outs to ensure timely completion.
• Reseal external sections of units to ensure integrity and durability.
• Perform painting tasks on doors and woodwork associated with vehicle builds.
• General upkeep and maintenance of headquarters and yard sites.
• Provide hands-on assistance as required to meet project goals.

• Training and proficiency with power tools.

Additional Requirements
