Motor Parts Advisor

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Motor Parts Advisor with a strong interest in plant and access machinery. You will join a vibrant team dedicated to maintaining high standards of machinery performance through effective parts management.

Role Responsibilities

• Identify, procure, and order components for heavy plant and access machinery.
• Oversee inventory control and stock levels utilizing internal management systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts.
• Offer technical guidance and support to both engineers and clients.
• Keep precise documentation of part transactions and usage statistics.
• Assist with additional duties like managing engineer van inventory, workshop supplies, and vendor account initiation.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a parts advisor or in a related capacity, ideally within plant, agriculture, or construction machinery.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical parts and plant machinery.
• Strong communication and organizational expertise.
• Familiarity with parts catalogs, inventory systems, and everyday IT applications.
• Ability to handle pressure and juggle multiple tasks effectively.
