About Eighty Days
Eighty Days is creating an innovative platform to transform how individuals explore the world by focusing on taste, trust, and personalized context. Travel discovery, which is often scattered across social media, search engines, and private chats, is unified into a structured, map-centric experience featuring attributed and meaningful recommendations that evolve over time. The product aims not simply to assist with trip planning but to serve as a continuous hub for saving, organizing, and revisiting significant places.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop dynamic motion graphics, animations, and seamless transitions to enhance the product and brand identity.
- Design engaging UI interactions and micro-interactions that ensure a refined and user-friendly product experience.
- Bring to life screens, components, icons, illustrations, and other visual elements through animation.
- Work closely with development teams to verify that animations are implementable and executed precisely.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Possess a minimum of two years' experience specializing in motion design, animation, or related disciplines.
- Exhibit strong mastery of animation principles including timing, easing, transitions, composition, and visual narrative techniques.
- Proficient in industry-standard software such as After Effects, Figma, Rive, Lottie, or comparable tools.
- Demonstrate impeccable visual design skills coupled with an acute eye for detail.
- Capable of guiding an idea from a conceptual stage through animation, prototyping, and developer collaboration.
- Present a robust portfolio showcasing both motion graphics projects and digital/UI interactive designs.
Additional Advantages
- Knowledge of animation implementation processes on iOS and Android platforms.
- Experience creating motion design systems tailored for consumer-facing applications.
- Skills in illustration or three-dimensional design.
- Background working in a fast-paced startup focused on product development.
