Model Maker – Prototype & 3D Printing

Overview

Tecmac Solution is seeking a practical and skilled Model Maker to become part of their Model Making and Production team located in Talawade, Pune. The role involves hands-on creation and finishing of physical models and prototypes aligned with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and perfect physical prototypes following detailed drawings and measurements.
• Utilize materials such as MDF, acrylic, foam, resin, plastics, and 3D-printed parts during model fabrication.
• Carry out tasks including cutting, drilling, sanding, fitting, bonding, assembling, and finishing to ensure quality.
• Precisely assemble multiple components to produce comprehensive physical models.
• Collaborate closely with Design and Production teams to understand model specifications and deliver accordingly.
• Inspect dimensions, fitting, alignment, and finish to maintain high-quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Between 1 to 5 years of practical experience in model making, prototype production, fabrication, or related workshop activities.
• Exposure to architectural models, industrial prototypes, sculpture or assembly work is an added advantage.
• Experience with 3D printing and production of physical product models or industrial models is favorable.
• Open to applicants from any educational background.
