Role Overview
This position involves working as a Mobile Cleaning Operative based in the Inverness area. You will travel to multiple locations within the Inverness postcode, providing coverage for absences and holidays by performing a variety of cleaning duties independently or alongside a team. Tasks include mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning toilets, floors, and office spaces, emptying waste bins, sanitising surfaces, and litter picking in yard and parking areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning operations such as mopping, vacuuming, and dusting across various sites.
- Maintain cleanliness of toilets, floors, and office environments.
- Dispose of waste properly and sanitise frequently touched surfaces.
- Collect litter from yards and car park locations as part of site upkeep.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and motivated to work independently. Familiarity with cleaning equipment is advantageous but not required as comprehensive training will be provided. Strong communication skills and adherence to health and safety standards are essential. A valid UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points is mandatory due to the mobile nature of this role. A company van will be assigned for travel between sites.
Employment Details
- Permanent contract.
- Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
- Hourly pay rate is £13.10.
