Mobile Application Developer

Overview

Vistas Global seeks an experienced Mendix Certified Developer with over three years of practical Mendix development expertise to craft, integrate, and sustain high-quality scalable enterprise applications. This role demands a strong background in Object-Oriented Programming, web and mobile technologies, APIs, and database management.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain enterprise solutions leveraging the Mendix low-code platform.
• Convert business needs into efficient and user-centric Mendix applications.
• Create reusable components such as modules, workflows, microflows, and domain models to enhance development efficiency.
• Integrate Mendix apps with external systems via RESTful APIs and web services.
• Manage databases by writing and optimizing SQL queries as necessary.
• Build responsive web user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS frameworks.
• Implement Object-Oriented Programming principles in application and integration development.
• Develop and maintain mobile applications using Mendix and relevant mobile development tools.
• Diagnose and resolve application problems, including debugging and providing production support.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, QA, and other developers to ensure quality delivery.
• Engage in activities such as code reviews, quality testing, deployment, and managing application lifecycles.
• Ensure applications deliver strong performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

• At least three years of hands-on experience with Mendix development.
• Possession of a valid Mendix Certification is required.
• Proven skills in Mendix application creation and deployment processes.
• Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming methodologies.
• Proficiency in web frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS.
• Experience in Java programming and SQL database scripting.
• Expertise in creating and using REST APIs.
• Background in mobile application development.
• Understanding of data modeling, database interactions, and application integrations.
• Strong analytical abilities for troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Mendix Studio Pro environment.
• Experience with integrating Mendix applications with external APIs and services.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development practices.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps frameworks.
• History of involvement in enterprise-level Mendix projects.

Educational Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related field is expected.
