MIS Associate

Overview

Indiejewel Fashions Private Limited is seeking a detail-oriented MIS Associate to manage and oversee data related to supply chain operations. This role focuses on maintaining data integrity, generating insightful reports, and collaborating with various departments to support efficient logistics and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, input, and maintain precise data in company systems such as ERP concerning material movements, inventory status, and logistics activities.
• Develop and evaluate daily, weekly, and monthly management information system (MIS) reports and dashboards to monitor supply chain metrics like inventory and vendor performance.
• Identify and correct discrepancies in data to uphold accuracy and consistency across supply chain data and reporting systems.
• Analyze trends to assist in supply chain planning and recommend actionable improvements for process optimization.
• Collaborate closely with warehouse, logistics, procurement, and other relevant teams to ensure timely and accurate data updates and to understand reporting requirements.
• Provide support in troubleshooting system-related issues and deliver training to staff on MIS functionalities as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data, discover patterns, and generate actionable insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with database management systems are important.
• Detail-oriented mindset to guarantee data precision and integrity.
• Effective problem-solving skills for addressing data and reporting challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively across departments and clearly present data findings to management.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is typically required.
• Previous experience in MIS or data analysis roles, ideally within supply chain or logistics environments, is preferred.
