Role Overview

The Millwright will provide technical support to the department and Superintendent by performing various mechanical, welding, and ironwork duties. This position requires precision handling of millwright tools and adherence to safety protocols while operating equipment such as forklifts, skid steer loaders, scissor lifts, and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, ironwork, and mechanical tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize various millwright precision tools correctly and carefully.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment including forklifts, skid steer loaders, and scissor lifts.
• Interpret construction drawings accurately to layout work and build according to specifications.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in industrial mechanics or enrollment in an Apprenticeship Program.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to work on a 14-day on/7-day off rotation, involving extended periods away from home.
• Personal ownership and upkeep of basic trade tools.
• Potential requirement to undergo pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
