Role Overview

As a Millwright at FWS, you will play a key role in supporting the department and the Superintendent through a variety of mechanical and construction tasks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute welding, ironworking, and other mechanical assignments accurately and effectively.
• Proficiently utilize a range of millwright precision instruments.
• Operate equipment safely, including forklifts, skid steer loaders, scissor lifts, and power tools.
• Interpret and apply construction drawings to accurately layout work and construct according to specifications.

Candidate Qualifications

• Relevant experience in industrial mechanics or current enrollment in an Apprenticeship Program.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Capacity to work on a 14-day on, 7-day off work rotation that involves extended periods away from home.
• Ownership and upkeep of essential trade tools.
• Willingness to undergo pre-access drug and alcohol screening if required.
