This role offers the chance to collaborate with seasoned specialists on diverse, complex projects. The ideal candidate is detail-focused, responsible, growth-oriented, and passionate about quantitative trading, risk, and data analytics, with opportunities to make impactful contributions and receive recognition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and sustain risk monitoring systems for equity long/short and multi-strategy portfolios, including factor risk modeling and performance attribution.
  • Track exposures including beta, sector, country, and factor across various strategies, identifying concentration risks, drifts, and potential issues.
  • Examine crowding, inter-strategy correlations, and shared risk factors, particularly under stressed market scenarios.
  • Perform quantitative analyses of risk and performance to deliver actionable insights to traders, management, and risk oversight functions.
  • Design, automate, and enhance analytical tools and dashboards to support risk control, capital allocation, and performance assessment.

Candidate Requirements

  • Between 2 to 5 years of experience in risk management or trading operations within hedge funds, proprietary trading, or prime brokerage sectors.

  • Advanced skills in Python for data analysis and automation, proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, and familiarity with Linux operating environments.
  • Strong communication abilities to effectively interact with traders, engineers, and external partners in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in hedge funds focused on long/short equity strategies.
  • Understanding of prime brokerage workflows and experience handling broker data such as confirmations, statements, margin, and financing.
  • Capability to independently identify and resolve trading, position, and PnL discrepancies under time pressure.
  • Experience in collaborative problem-solving with traders, engineers, and external counterparties to troubleshoot and implement solutions.
  • Robust quantitative and analytical mindset for interpreting trading and risk-related data.
