About the Role and Company

As a Microsoft Security Engineer at DXC, you will join a collaborative team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the security of Microsoft environments, gaining autonomy in troubleshooting, optimization, and security hardening.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the Microsoft security environment ensuring its robustness and reliability
- Configure and continuously improve Microsoft security solutions to meet organizational needs
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to security, identity management, and access controls
- Monitor security vulnerabilities actively and lead efforts to implement remediation measures
- Enforce security policies and integrate best practices across platforms
- Assist senior architects in designing and deploying new security strategies and solutions
- React promptly to security incidents and enhance existing security controls to prevent recurrence
- Develop detailed and clear technical documentation to support security operations
- Collaborate closely with various technical teams and stakeholders to align security initiatives
Required Skills and Expertise
- Proficiency with Microsoft Entra ID and managing Conditional Access policies
- Familiarity with Identity Governance frameworks and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
- Experience handling Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender security platforms
- Strong understanding of Azure Security principles and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)
- Competence in vulnerability management and driving remediation processes
- Excellent analytical skills for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Highly self-driven with capacity for autonomous work
Preferred Additional Skills
- Knowledge of Citrix NetScaler / ADC technologies
- Experience with Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF)
- Understanding of One Identity Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions
- Familiarity with Palo Alto Cortex platforms such as XDR and XSOAR
