Role Overview
We seek a dynamic Merchant Services Analyst who thrives in a busy and multifaceted environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate merchant applications by conducting credit checks and quality assessments to make informed decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Scheme rules, covering settlement procedures and charge-back processes.
- Handle and resolve Credit/Merchant Services related tickets promptly and effectively.
- Consistently follow defined workflows with accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
- Provide enterprise clients with tailored reporting and analytical support.
- Regularly review credit and merchant service accounts to ensure compliance with application terms.
- Perform necessary identity and credit verifications during application processing, exercising sound judgment regarding risk and compliance adherence.
Qualifications & Preferences
- Bachelor’s degree equivalent to A+/A or B+/B in finance or a related discipline.
- Quick assimilation of payment and card industry knowledge with a strong enthusiasm for the field.
- Solid grasp of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) practices.
- Meticulous attention to detail combined with proficient data entry and technical skills.
- Strong commitment to exceptional customer service delivery.
