Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain organization of backroom stock adhering to Backroom Inventory Management processes.
• Utilize Portable Data Terminal (PDT) and Merchandise Management System (MMS) for daily operational tasks.
• Manage product returns and exit strategies as directed.
• Develop expertise in inventory areas including product placement and monitoring expiry dates.
• Ensure store appearance meets company standards reflecting current trends.
• Create and maintain customer-friendly, engaging product displays.
• Receive merchandise following company policies and maintain proper documentation for receipts and returns.
• Keep backroom orderly in line with organizational principles.
• Assist store management in upholding quality and operational standards.
• Adhere to the company's uniform policy maintaining a professional customer-facing image.
• Proactively assist customers on the sales floor.
• Follow all health, safety, store standards, and loss prevention policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Good planning, decision-making, and judgment skills.
• Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic situations on the sales floor.
• Experience with computer systems and cash registers.
• Accurate and efficient handling of cash transactions when required.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong record-keeping capabilities.
• Self-motivated work ethic.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Flexible availability including nights and weekends.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly wage range is from CAD 17.60 to CAD 19.50, influenced by experience, knowledge, and location.
