Role Overview

As a Merchandiser based in Terrace, you will be the vital face ensuring that Coke Canada Bottling's products are consistently available in local grocery stores. Your role goes beyond just stocking shelves; you will create outstanding experiences for both customers and consumers by maintaining well-stocked beverage sections, displays, and coolers.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock and replenish beverage products on racks, shelves, coolers, and displays by moving items from back storage areas to the front using manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand-trucks.
• Construct, update, or dismantle product displays while adhering to company standards, including managing signage, cleaning areas, and removing damaged goods.
• Adhere to all company and store policies related to stock handling, display maintenance, equipment use, and safety requirements.
• Organize and manage backroom inventory, including monitoring stock levels, processing damaged products, repacking items, and maintaining storage areas including pallets and product shells.
• Keep the working environment clean, organized, and in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Foster professional relationships with team members and customers.
• Physically handle product loads up to 50 lbs repeatedly, including lifting above shoulder level, kneeling, squatting, reaching overhead, and maneuvering manual and powered equipment over distances without assistance.
• Stand and walk for extended periods as a routine part of job duties.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle for work-related use.
• Maintain current vehicle liability insurance and have a clean driving record without major violations in the past three years.
• Preferred experience includes a minimum of one year in grocery, retail, warehousing, or similar environments.
• Experience working independently with limited supervision is desirable.
• Familiarity with manual or powered pallet jacks is preferred.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Location: Terrace, British Columbia
• Work Hours: 40 hours weekly, Monday through Sunday availability required
• Hourly Pay Rate: $25.13 CAD
