Job Overview

As a Merchandiser based in Thunder Bay, you will play a key role in ensuring our products are well-stocked and attractively presented in local grocery stores. The position requires you to maintain beverage displays, shelves, and coolers, delivering outstanding service to store clients and consumers.

Responsibilities

  • Replenish and maintain product stock by transporting items from storage to sales floors using manual equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks.
  • Set up, modify, or remove product displays according to company standards, including maintaining signage, cleaning display areas, and handling damaged goods.
  • Follow Coke Canada and store policies related to replenishment, equipment use, safety, and store operations.
  • Organize backroom stock, monitor inventory levels, report discrepancies, manage damaged products, re-pack merchandise, and keep storage areas orderly.
  • Keep work areas clean and comply with company safety and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain professional and positive relationships with coworkers and customers.
  • Regularly perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds above shoulder height, kneeling, squatting, reaching overhead, pushing and pulling equipment with loads up to 100 yards, and standing/walking for extended periods.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 17 years old.
  • Preferably have at least one year of experience in grocery, retail, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Experience operating manual or powered pallet jacks is an asset.
  • Comfortable working independently under minimal supervision for at least one year.
  • Possess a personal vehicle available for work use and hold current vehicle insurance.
  • Have a valid driver’s license with a clean record, free of major violations in the past three years.

Working Hours and Compensation

  • Work 40 hours per week with shifts scheduled Monday through Sunday.
  • Hourly pay set at $20.
